BANGKOK ART BIENNALE 2020: SYMPOSIUM II

Having written about Bangkok’s art biennales in Very Bangkok, I was invited to speak at the Bangkok Art Biennale Symposium II: From Escape Routes to Survival Exit on 20 February 2021 at BAB Box in Bangkok.

My panel was called ‘On Survival’ and focused on the impression of four pundits on the Thai art scene who weren’t directly involved with the biennale. It was moderated by BAB Director Dr Apinan Pohyananda and I spoke with Gwen Robinson (President of the Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Thailand), Loredana Pazzini-Paracciani (a leading curator) and Rémy Jarry (lecturer at Chulalongkorn University).
